Nobody has done more to pull running gear out of its dad-tech era than Satisfy. The Paris label has spent the last decade making moth-eaten tees (with DIY tutorials flooding socials these days) and technical bandanas feel like essential kit. So when COROS went looking for its first-ever brand collaboration, there was really only one phone call to make. Enter the SATISFY COROS APEX 4.

Unlike Satisfy, COROS built its reputation the unglamorous way. It leaned on an absurd battery life and prices that undercut Garmin. Design was never really the pitch for the brand. Now CEO Lewis Wu is openly saying he wants COROS making the best-looking watches, and not just the most capable ones.

Satisfy founder Brice Partouche had been logging his own miles on an APEX for years before the two brands ever talked shop, so the collab makes perfect sense.

The headliner here is the bezel. COROS subjects the Grade 5 titanium to extreme heat and controlled cooling, forcing the metal’s internal grain to mutate into a frost-like crystal pattern, then reveals it with a deep chemical etch.

Because of that process, no two bezels come out the same. Every single watch is a one-off, sealed under a clear carbon coating that keeps the raw metal feel without the scratches.

Mechanically, this is the APEX 4 we already know and love. You still get 65 hours of dual-frequency GPS, a 1.3″ sapphire-topped MIP touchscreen, and a featherweight 51 grams with the khaki wordmark nylon band (a green silicone strap comes in the box too).

Satisfy’s contribution runs deeper than the Burnt Olive paint, though. Three exclusive typewriter-styled watch faces and three training sessions from pro athlete Stian Sommerseth also come pre-loaded.

The SATISFY COROS APEX 4 dropped August 21 for $520, limited to one per customer, and at just $41 over the standard APEX 4, it’s one of the rare collabs that skips the hype tax entirely.
