Victorinox’s Jetsetter and Classic SD look like an easy choice between two little red pocket tools. The Jetsetter gives you a magnetic Phillips driver and bottle opener, while the Classic SD has a small knife blade and nail file. Both have scissors. The better choice depends on which job your current carry leaves uncovered.
Victorinox lists seven functions for each, so counting tools won’t settle this one. Start with the screw you need to turn, whether you already carry a knife, and whether a nail file earns its place on your keys.

The Jetsetter complements a knife you already carry

The Jetsetter 0.6263 puts a magnetic Phillips 0/1 screwdriver, bottle opener and wire stripper on its combination tool. Scissors, tweezers, a toothpick and a key ring complete the set. There’s no separate knife blade or nail file.
That makes it a useful starting point if a folding knife already handles your cutting. Adding the Jetsetter brings a Phillips driver and scissors without another knife blade. For a pocket setup built around one of the replaceable-blade tools in my refill guide, check which functions the larger tool already includes before doubling up.
Phillips 0/1 is the specification to match to your fasteners. The screwdriver’s magnetic tip doesn’t make it a substitute for every bit in a driver set.

The Classic SD puts a blade and nail file together

Choose the Classic SD in Style Icon red (0.6223.G) when you want the small blade as part of the package. It also has scissors, tweezers, a toothpick and a key ring. Its nail file ends in a 2.5mm screwdriver tip, so the Classic does include a driver, just a different one from the Jetsetter’s Phillips tool.
The file is another reason to choose it. If smoothing a rough nail is a more likely job than opening a bottle, the Classic puts the more useful implement in the same pocket. Rei Padla’s closer look at the Classic SD covers the appeal of that compact tool set in more detail.
Its small blade is non-locking. Keep that limitation in the buying decision, especially if you’re shopping for a primary cutting tool rather than an occasional-use addition to your keys.

Similar size, different reasons to carry one
Victorinox’s US specifications list both tools at 2.3 inches long and 0.4 inches high. The Jetsetter is listed at 0.8 inches wide and 0.8 ounces, against 0.7 inches and 0.7 ounces for the Classic SD Style Icon. Those are rounded manufacturer figures, not measurements from a side-by-side test.

The shared scissors mean you don’t have to choose between these two for that function. Choose the Jetsetter when the Phillips driver and bottle opener fill a gap in your carry. Choose the Classic SD when you want its small blade and nail file together. If neither set solves a problem your existing tools leave open, keep the pocket space.
