Google still hasn’t shown the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, and at this point it barely needs to. A fresh batch of high resolution images landed on July 30, and they look like they came straight off a product listing rather than out of a rendering tool. Under two weeks out from the August 12 event in New York, the foldable that usually arrives last is the one we’ve now seen most clearly.
What Landed in the Leakmail Drop
The images came through Evan Blass and his Leakmail newsletter, the same source behind most of the clean press imagery that shows up before a Google launch. This batch centers on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold in a green finish, shot from multiple angles, at a resolution and polish level that reads as official marketing material rather than a fan mockup.
The drop wasn’t limited to the foldable either. The same release included imagery of the Pixel Watch 5 and the Pixel Buds Pro 2 in a new dark green finish. The buds are the tell there, because Google has now timed earbud color refreshes to phone launches two years running, and a color refresh rather than new hardware points to the Pro 2 carrying another cycle. Google’s August event is still shaping up as a full hardware refresh, and the leak schedule is running well ahead of it.
Pixel Glow Made It to the Fold
The most useful new detail isn’t the chassis, it’s the light. Pixel Glow, the ambient lighting feature we’ve been tracking since it surfaced in Android beta strings back in May, appears in the leaked Pro Fold imagery too. That answers a question the earlier leaks left open, because there was no guarantee Google would carry a decorative rear light onto its most expensive and most thermally constrained device.
- Glow lives on the rear camera island, not on either display
- The visible change on the Fold renders is the flash, now nearly as large as one of the lenses, and the leading read is that Glow is integrated into that flash housing rather than running along the bar
- Google showed Glow itself twice, in the July 15 teaser and again in a follow up video on July 29, but both covered the Pro rather than the Fold, so the exact component on the foldable stays an open question
- Behavior is open too, specifically whether Glow can be mapped per app or per contact or stays locked to system level pulses
The Case for a Redesign Went Unanswered
If you were hoping for a rethink, this isn’t it. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold carries the Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s design language almost intact, down to the camera housing treatment and the general proportions of the outer panel. By our earlier reporting, Google’s design leadership signaled that the Pixel 10 look would carry through this generation, so the continuity looks deliberate rather than accidental.
The one visible change is the profile. Compared side by side against last year’s model, the leaked images suggest a slightly slimmer folded body, and the number that actually supports it is weight, with a spec leak putting the Pro Fold at 239g against the 258g Google lists for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Thickness is the weaker claim, because Google already publishes the current model at 0.4 inches folded and the leaked figure rounds to the same number.
Nineteen grams is the entire trim, and it lands in a category where that number gets argued over. Samsung and the Chinese foldable makers have spent two cycles competing on how thin a closed foldable can get, and Google has been the one sitting out that race. A modest trim keeps the Pro Fold in the conversation without Google having to gut the battery to get there.
Where This Fits With Everything Else We’ve Covered
This leak is the visual confirmation layer on top of a rumor cycle that’s been unusually complete. Back in May, Pixel 11 Leak Reveals Tensor G6 and Pixel Glow Lights laid out the silicon story, the move to a 2nm Tensor G6, the MediaTek M90 modem, and the first real description of Pixel Glow as a face down notification light. Pixel 11’s Pixel Glow slipped out at Google I/O 2026 caught the feature running live on a prototype, and the picture filled in fast from there:

The green finish in these images is the interesting wrinkle, because nobody agrees on what it’s called. A render from mid July showed a Pro Fold in a darker green with a light gold frame under the name Pine, while the finish in this drop is circulating under the name Moss, with olive used as the looser description. Three labels for one finish means the name isn’t settled, and the only safe statement today is that the Pro Fold is coming in green.
The Fold Numbers Still Worth Watching
Images tell you what a phone looks like. They don’t tell you whether it’s worth $1,899, and the open questions on this device are the same ones they were in May.
- Battery: leaked figures put the Pro Fold at 4,750mAh, under the 5,015mAh Google publishes for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, though the figure attached to this leak has circulated anywhere from 4,658mAh to 4,800mAh
- Chip: Tensor G6 efficiency has to cover that gap, and Tensor has a history of not covering gaps
- RAM: the Fold looks spared from the memory squeeze, with leaked listings showing 16GB across all three storage tiers while the Pro and Pro XL drop to 12GB at the base tier
- Timing: the Fold has trailed the rest of the lineup in both recent cycles, reaching retail on October 9 last year and September 4 the year before, and this time the signals conflict, with one leak pointing to August 20 retail while the Fold’s availability window is still widely pegged to fall
What This Changes Before August 12
If you’re a Pixel 10 Pro Fold owner, these images give you your answer early. A familiar design, a marginally thinner body, and a rear light aren’t an upgrade case after one year, and nothing in this drop suggests otherwise.
Coming from a Pixel 9 Pro Fold, or waiting the category out entirely, you get a better argument. The Fold holds 16GB of RAM across every tier while the Pro and Pro XL drop to 12GB at base storage, which makes the foldable the only Pixel 11 that isn’t paying for this year’s price increase in memory. Either way, the specs that decide this thing, battery endurance and sustained Tensor performance, aren’t in a press render. Those land on August 12, and the reviews land after.
