Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 roughly a year ago, and it was arguably the most powerful smartphone processor for most of 2026. The company has recently been teasing not one but two Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chips, and it’s now made them official.
