Aulumu is one of those brands that seemingly came out of nowhere. In just a few short years, the Shenzhen outfit has built a genuine cult following on MagSafe wallets, kickstands, and power banks that sport a heavy dose of Cyberpunk influence, and we’ve covered plenty of them. Now they’re taking their first swing at soft goods with the B01 Urban Transit Gear Sling Bag.
Let’s be honest, a company this obsessed with magnets was probably never going to release a “normal” sling. The B01’s equipped with a detachable aluminum compartment mounted to the face of the bag, holding your phone magnetically on the outside providing quick access on the go.
And if you need to navigate, tap to pay, or even take a call, simply grab the phone, do the thing, and snap it back. It’s all designed be a one-handed experience, and all without ever touching a zipper.
An adjustment knob lets the mount fit any iPhone from the 12 onward, plus Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra.
As for the actual bag portion, Aulumu clearly did its homework. The B01 is cut from X-Pac, the diamond-gridded technical fabric beloved by the EDC pack crowd. And the hardware is legit too, with a Fidlock magnetic buckle up top and YKK zippers throughout.
Capacity sits at a slim 2.5 liters and weighs roughly 400 grams, though an expandable gusset stretches things to 3.5 liters to expand with your loadout.
The aluminum mount also swaps onto Aulumu’s smaller $89 B02 sling, and it ties into the same magnetic ecosystem as the G09 stand and M10 power bank we’ve already gone hands-on with. Hell, they’ve practically built themselves a wearable charging dock.
