Fisher Raw Brass AG7 Astronaut Space Pen
No pen is arguably as famous as the Fisher AG7 Original Astronaut Space Pen. Present on every crewed NASA mission since Apollo 7, this pen is equally valued in EDC setups closer to earth thanks to its ability to write upside down, under water, and in temperature extremes. Now, a new look is set to take off with the AG7 Raw Brass. The design revamps the original with a new raw brass finish that will wear naturally over time, creating a unique patina with use. LOST PONIES ALUULA Graflyte Zip Pouches
Founded by designer Pete Hill, LOST PONIES is an ultralight brand launching ALUULA Graflyte Zip Pouches as its first product. Why pouches? Because as Pete puts it, smaller products leave much less room for error if you want gear that isn’t just average but actually great to use. Starting with a solid foundation, the pouches are made with a bonded construction using waterproof, UV-resistant ALUULA Graflyte
material that offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio.
The translucent material helps with discerning the contents at a glance, while four size options provide different storage solutions for changing setups. But Pete takes things a step further, focusing on details such as corner designs that allow the pouches to stand on their own for easier access to gear, as well as multifunctional Zip Tabs that accommodate an optional waistbelt/shoulder strap to convert the pouches into lightweight bags.

Vollebak Firefighter Hoodie
Humans as a whole are fairly fascinated by fire, using it for everything from cooking to heat to relaxing ambiance and more. But the clothing we wear isn’t great at holding up to loose sparks. So Vollebak decided to address this with the Firefighter Hoodie. Crafted with 100% meta-aramid material, the hoodie uses the same fabric found in firefighting gear, military flight suits, and F1 racing suits, but in a silhouette that slips right into urban everyday wear.
Meta-aramid doesn’t burn, melt, or drip, making it a great option for flame-resistant material (note the hoodie is not fireproof protective clothing). The fabric is backed up by flame-resistant drawcords with silicone-dipped ends and a two-way front zip with flame-resistant teeth. Finally, a kangaroo front pocket offers storage for small items or a cosy place to stash your hands in cooler weather.
ThruDark Special Duty 5L
ThruDark built its name kitting out special forces operators, then decided a sling (or bum bag in British!) needed the same treatment.
The original Spectral already had a following, built from Cordura and ballistic nylon, small enough to disappear across the body but tough enough to trust with a phone, wallet or passport thanks to its RFID pocket.
The Spectral Duty is what happens when that idea gets up-armoured. The ripstop shell weaves Dyneema into a polyester and nylon base, pushing tear and abrasion resistance up to a 9700 HH rating. A PFC-free C0 DWR finish keeps rain, sleet and snow out without the usual chemical baggage. An Austrialpin Cobra Pro aluminium buckle closes it up properly, and it still works slung across the shoulder or cinched at the waist.
Is a 5-litre pouch really built to a 9700 HH rating overkill for carrying your keys and a protein bar? Almost certainly. But if you’re the kind of person who wants their “bum bag” rated like body armour, ThruDark just made yours.

Black Diamond x Norda
The Black Diamond x Norda partnership caught global attention at the UTMB ultra-marathon in Chamonix. Black Diamond have been taking steps into the trail running scene in recent years – but made a conscious decision not to design their own shoe. Then one of their ambassadors – ultra-runner Joe Grant – introduced them to Norda.
As trail running continues to push further into technical alpine terrain, the two brands suddenly have a lot to offer each other: norda brings cutting-edge footwear tech, while Black Diamond brings decades of mountain expertise. But the mark of a good collab is whether the two brands have really achieved something they couldn’t do alone…
Here, Black Diamond fast-track their footwear offering with the Norda 000 high-mountain shoe, and Norda get mountain pedigree with a Distance 15 fast-pack dripping in Ultra 100D fabric from Challenge Sailcloth, and a commitment to a long-term partnership that goes further than anything BD have done in the last 40 years.
Db x Purple Mountain Observatory
Apparently, fly-fishing is getting a glow-up too. Db Journey x Purple Mountain Observatory collab also brings a fresh approach to a niche area. Like trail running, fishing is really just another excuse to get outside and immerse yourself in nature—but historically, it hasn’t exactly been cool.
Standing knee-deep in a river all day does mean you need to keep your gear organised & close at hand though.
Db have that area covered with their serious expertise in bag-design, while PMO has built its name blending outdoor function with urban aesthetics. Together, they’ve reimagined traditional fishing gear using ALUULA Graflyte—one of the most advanced lightweight materials around.
Is that complete overkill for catching a fish? Probably. But if it gets a new generation excited about heading outdoors, maybe that’s exactly the point.
Pelican Detour Collection
Think Pelican and you think hard-case protection for gear in demanding outdoor and travel settings. But their soft-sided travel line, the Aegis series, is getting some well-deserved time in the spotlight with a new campaign in partnership with photographer and adventurer Chris Burkard. The Detour campaign highlights the PX25 Aegis Travel Pack and the SX5 Aegis Padded Sling embracing the challenges of backcountry exploration when things don’t quite go to plan.
