Starting at the metro north Garrison train station, this hiking trail has various unique parts.
During the first leg, you will find what appears to be an abandoned entrance to a building, in the form of a brick wall with door/window openings covered in vines and graffiti.
Second leg you cross over a pedestrian bridge above the train tracks to Arden Point for various views of the Hudson River beyond.
Third leg includes some bamboo forested areas as well as the path Benedict Arnold used to flee before his treasonous actions were discovered.
There is signage and a display board with the history related to the historic Beverly Dock Road.
Its easy to get to using public transportation. Take the Metro North Hudson line to the Garrison station. There are no public restrooms available at the trail or the train station.
