If the REDTIGER F17 Elite is on your dash cam shortlist, waiting until October 6 could save you another $80. Redtiger has announced a $209.99 Amazon price for October 6 and 7, compared with the $289.99 new-unit offer we found on October 4. The upcoming price would be $140 below the listing’s $349.99 reference price.
The reason to consider this particular model is its third camera. Alongside 4K front and 2.5K rear recording, the F17 Elite records the cabin at 1080p, giving drivers who want an interior view a single three-channel setup. A 128GB card is included. The planned discount makes that package worth watching, but it hasn’t appeared in the current offer yet.

Three views, with a choice about the cabin
A front-and-rear camera kit records what’s happening ahead of and behind the car. The F17 Elite adds a view of the people inside, which could be useful for rideshare drivers or anyone who specifically wants a record of the cabin as well as the road. If you’re only interested in traffic ahead and behind, that extra lens may not be a feature you’ll use.
Redtiger lists an in-car camera toggle and the option to switch between front-and-rear or front-and-interior recording. That’s a useful detail for a shared car: the interior camera doesn’t have to be part of every trip. The main unit also has a touchscreen and voice controls, so you have options beyond reaching for the phone app.
The front and rear cameras use Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 and IMX675 sensors, respectively. Redtiger pairs them with HDR and promotes full-color low-light recording for the front and cabin views. We haven’t tested the F17 Elite, so we can’t promise readable plates at a particular distance or clear faces in every dark cabin.

Parking recording needs more than the included charger
The biggest setup detail is easy to miss in a deal listing. Parking monitoring requires a compatible hardwire kit. The Amazon package lists a USB-C car charger, but a hardwire kit isn’t among its listed contents, so check what you’ll need before counting on recording while the car is off.
The camera supports time-lapse parking recording and G-sensor event detection. During normal use, loop recording overwrites older footage, while the G-sensor can lock an event clip. Save anything important somewhere else rather than treating the card as a permanent archive.
For a sense of the installation work, The Gadgeteer’s GKU D1000 three-channel review walks through routing a rear camera and positioning an interior lens. It’s a different model, but the photos make the hardware commitment easy to see.
There’s physical installation to plan, too. The package includes an adhesive windshield mount, a separate rear camera, an 18-foot rear-camera cable and cable clips. Think through the route to the rear window before ordering, especially in a larger vehicle. The press photos show how the main unit sits near the mirror, but the right position and wiring route will depend on your car.

The included 128GB card gets you started without a separate storage purchase, and the listing supports cards up to 512GB. Built-in GPS adds location and speed information to recordings. Wi-Fi connects the camera with the REDTIGER Cam app for previewing and downloading clips; it doesn’t remove the power and rear-camera wiring.
Put the October price on your calendar
The current $289.99 offer is for a new black F17 Elite, sold by TANLINK-Direct and shipped by Amazon. Don’t confuse it with the F17, F17 Plus or another bundle when you follow the deal link. Redtiger’s October 2 announcement ties the planned $209.99 price to this exact F17 Elite listing.
The announced sale window is October 6 and 7, 2026. Exact start and end times, coupon steps and Prime eligibility weren’t specified in the information we could verify, so check the live offer before paying. We wouldn’t pay the higher Amazon price just to get ahead of the announced October 6 sale unless you need the camera immediately.

For a driver who genuinely wants front, rear and cabin recording, the announced $209.99 price is the one to watch. Make room in the budget for parking-mode hardware and installation if you need them, then confirm that the promised discount is actually live. That gives you a much clearer buying decision than the night-vision marketing alone.
